A clear brief gives a visualization project a useful starting point. You can begin with a few essentials:
• The product: drawings, dimensions, photographs, available 3D files and references for materials or finishes.
• The purpose: where the images will appear and what they need to communicate.
• The direction: references for atmosphere, composition or styling, with a short explanation of what you like about them.
• The deliverables: the number of images, required formats, deadline and people involved in approval.
It also helps to identify what is fixed and what is open to exploration. The product’s proportions may be defined, while the setting and lighting remain part of the creative work.
At Ulis, we use this starting point to develop the visual direction with you. A useful brief gives the project enough clarity to move forward and enough room for ideas to develop.
